William Mathews testified...On Saturday last I was day watchman at the gate of the lower hospital. I heard James Osborn crying out. I looked over towards the hut I saw he was bleeding. The prisoner was watchman inside the hut. I saw no other person in the hut but the prisoner at the bar and the man who was struck. Admonished and discharged
